A Winning Start to 2024

2024 is off to a great start for us here at HTZ.

We were blessed that the Richfield Chamber of Commerce presented us with the 2023 Business of the Year award. We didn’t even know we’d been nominated, and then to be chosen over other outstanding local businesses was such an honor and happy surprise!

We talk about it all the time here at HTZ so you may have heard this before, but we consider it an honor, a privilege and a responsibility to be in business. We want to be a great place that employees love working at. Together with our well cared for and motivated employees, we are able to serve our clients well and make often stressful process of renovation as easy as possible. Serving our clients well enables us to give and impact the communities in which we serve. It’s our mission to be a blessing to all that we interact with, and we believe that businesses in general have a responsibility to be force for good.

HTZ Cares – January Charity Drive Results

Thank you to everyone who made a donation to Safe Harbor, our January Charity of the Month. We received 4 submissions of proof of donations made in January that totaled $377.20 and we matched that amount to make the impact of our drive $754.40. This fell short of the $2,500 we had earmarked to match but we will roll the remaining balance forward to be able to give to another organization in the future.

Every month an HTZ employee gets to choose a charity of their choice for HTZ to donate $1,000 to. Our design and marketing assistant Courtney Craft was first up this year and she chose Lucerna Press to donate to.

HTZ Cares – February Charity of the Month

Our February Charity of the Month is Boys Hope Girls Hope. They are a local charity that serves motivated youth in under-resourced areas by providing them resources and support to become well-educated, career-ready individuals. They have both after school programming, summer programs, and they even have a residency program in which 18 young adults live at their facility during the school week and they help support them with their academics as well as balancing school and sports. They’ve partnered with a lot of local private schools where these kids receive scholarship and Boys Hope Girls Hope helps with transportation to and from school and everything else that they can do to help these under privileged young adults to thrive.

The greatest need at Boys Hope Girls Hope right now is for their residency program and they are requesting donations of paper towels, toilet paper, toiletries/hygiene products, laundry products and cleaning supplies.

HOME & GARDEN SHOW

The Great Big Home & Garden Show is happening now through February 11th at the IX Center and we are back for our third year.

HTZ Owners Adam & Lori Bryant with their children, ages 17-10, who love getting to help out at the booth! And ignore the bare feet on our youngest, who would live without shoes if he could… and apparently he is. {Insert mom sigh}.

The 10 day show makes for a long couple of weeks, but we’ve met some amazing clients by being there and it makes the long hours worth it to be able to help such wonderful people design and bring their renovation dreams to life.

Owner Adam Bryant and our design partner Ashleigh Clark of Ashleigh Clark Interior Design Group (ACIDG) took to the main stage at the IX center to give a presentation called Design + Plan for a Successful Kitchen Renovation. They shared tips on choosing a professional to do the work and pros and cons of each, design trends for 2024 and more.

They have two more presentations coming up at the home show on Friday, February 9 at 7pm and Saturday, February 10th at 6pm.

If you don’t get a chance to make it out to the home & garden show to hear them speak on the topic, we are going to give the same presentation at the HTZ office on Saturday, March 2 at 11:00am as well as Saturday, April 13 at 11:00am. Registration will be required and lunch will be provided. An invitation to the seminar will be sent out shortly via email with the registration link in it. If you are not already on our email list, you can sign up HERE to make sure that you don’t miss important updates.
